FED: Women urged to nominate for 2020 summit

CANBERRA, Feb 27 AAP - Former federal sex discrimination commissioner Elizabeth Broderick
has urged women to put their hand up and take part in the prime minister's 2020 ideas
summit.

Ms Broderick said she was concerned that only one woman - actor Cate Blanchett - was
included on the summit's independent steering committee.

She said women of all ages and backgrounds should nominate to take part in the summit.
