Qld: Police seized almost $7 million in operation

BRISBANE, Jan 17 AAP - Police have seized drugs and almost $7 million worth of firearms
and other property after a joint covert operation in Queensland and South Australia.

A police spokesman said a number of people were arrested today when search warrants
were executed on properties in Brisbane and Queensland's south-west and south-east.

Warrants stemming from the three-year operation Twine/Tuna were also executed on addresses
in South Australia.
